has led to the abandonment of minimalism, and a push towards the exact opposite, i.e. layering, maximalism,
playfulness and irony, opening the door to the broad theme of play.

customs and rules of design, architecture and visual arts.
The trend for a new type of protest has taken off again from that very movement – primitive shapes, strong, even
risky, colour combinations, marble and bold decoration is already under our nose and destined to take centre stage.
