People live their every-day life in a state of non stop connection and confusion. Excessive information, continuous
personal interrelations, often undesired, put people in a state of great tension. For this reason, the trend of developing
products and environments which divert people from these habits and routines becomes an indispensable
element of current design. Products are designed to be “invisible” and are able to build around the user an area of
silence and detachment, whether real or metaphorical.
